I asked Jody Sparks about your colt. Jody said a client from New York called him and asked him to look at him.

Jody judged your colt to be a good racing prospect, "with nothing major that should hold him back." He said his client will be patient with the horse, and he thinks he has good earning potential in the NY-bred ranks.

Hi Anne, I walked to Siberia, I mean Barn 40, to see your horse. (anything below 20 degrees is cold, no matter where you're from)

Your horse has good size and he made a favorable impression on me. He has a slight hitch in his front left wheel but he moves through it. Chris Brothers of Hidden Brook thinks he's a good colt, more refined than the typical Touch Gold.

Purse opportunities for NY-breds are great and will only get better in the next couple years. I hope someone sees the potential in your horse. This is a tough sale.

Been following your blogs this wk. as I have a yearling in today (Thurs) hip #1431, that we bred on a foal share.
Wish me luck, I haven't seen him in 3 mos since we sent him to sales prep, so I don't know what to expect.
If you are around barn 40 check him out! (I am home in cold NY state.)
His dam died a wk. after he was born, so he is the last, sadly. His dam's sister RNA'd Monday for $70,000, (Our Majestic Cat).
